GWU Institute for International Economic Policy
Executive Education Program
“Digital Trade and the Data Driven Economy”
Four 2-Hour Sessions from January 30-February 20, 2018
GWU is pleased to announce the first Executive Education Program in Digital Trade and the Data Driven Economy.
Cross-border data flows are the fastest growing component of world trade. Digital trade (goods and services delivered via the internet) is crucial for nearly all firms, from large multinationals to small businesses that rely on online platforms such as Alibaba to connect and trade with customers around the world. Growth in global markets for digital technologies is likely to continue as some 61% of the world’s population has yet to go online (World Bank, 2016).
The course will be offered Tuesday nights for four two-hour sessions from January 30-February 20, 2018. We will have guest lecturers from Brookings and key industry players such as eBay and PayPal. Please see the flyer here for more details. Direct questions to Dr. Susan Aaronson at email@example.com. Please share the program with colleagues and friends who would benefit from additional knowledge about digital trade.
